Uniwater grows in Norway – enters into an agreement to acquire Controlpartner AS
Uniwater has entered into an agreement to acquire Norwegian Controlpartner AS, specialists in automation and system solutions for water infrastructure. Controlpartner will be Uniwater's fifth acquisition in 2025 and also the Uniwater Group's fifth operating company in Norway.
Controlpartner are specialists in digitalization and future-proofing of municipal water and wastewater facilities and industrial processes. Increased presence in Norway and broadened offering
The acquisition expands Uniwater’s presence in Norway and broadens the group’s offering of modern system solutions. Controlpartner’s expertise in operational control, energy efficiency and stable control systems is a valuable addition to Uniwater’s business area Flow, together with business area colleague ASB VA automation, as well as soon to come, Danish WASYS and ACOWA, two acquisitions that were presented in September.
– This is an important step in our strategy to strengthen our presence in Norway and offer automation solutions for the water infrastructure of the future. With Controlpartner, we now have four strong companies in electricity and automation in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. We look forward to our joint development journey and see great opportunities to drive product development in our sector, and find synergies between our companies, says Martin Evertsson, Business Area Director for Uniwater Flow.

Controlpartner was founded in 2015 and currently has 40 employees, and offices in Porsgrunn, Bergen and Oslo. The company is led by CEO Robert Wasler, one of the three founders.
– We look forward to becoming part of Uniwater, which invests in an industry that we know very well – our core area is water and sewage. Uniwater’s companies are specialists in their respective fields, and together we can increase our capacity for larger projects and create synergies in both technology and market. With Uniwater, we also get a shorter route to new markets outside Norway, while our business continues to run as before. We share the same values, and already know several of the companies within Uniwater, which makes this a natural step forward, says Robert Wasler, CEO of Controlpartner.
