– Builds broader specialized competencies and widens geographic spread
ASB, part of the Uniwater group and one of Sweden’s leading companies in automated water and wastewater systems, has
acquired Elteam One. ASB has consequently widened its geographical trade area and strengthened its
offering in automation for water and wastewater treatment.
The demand for automated water and wastewater systems in Sweden and the rest of the Nordics continues to grow, and proximity to customers is crucial for a good delivery. ASB has acquired Elteam One to be able to meet the increasing demand, and is consequently broadening the specialized knowledge to include customer-focused electric automation. The larger geographic trade area includes municipalities in Värmland.
– We’re very happy about Elteam One now being a part of ASB, and that we can broaden our offering because of it. We’ve worked on different projects with Elteam One in the past, and know that they have the specialized knowledge we’re looking for. Thanks to that, we have a very strong position in Värmland, and can offer comprehensive services within automated water and wastewater systems of the future. We are now going to make sure that all of our co-workers feel welcomed into ASB and our Uniwater group, and that they take advantage of becoming a stronger company in water and wastewater automation in Sweden and the Nordics, says Kenneth Rydin, CEO of ASB.
Elteam One is a well-managed company that was founded in 2014 by Ulf Brattström and Olle Levein, based in Storfors. Elteam One will move to Rostfria VA-System’s premises in Filipstad due to the acquisition. Rostfria VA-System is also a part of the Uniwater group.
– We’ve seen the water industry grow continuously, and it’s an exciting and attractive segment for us to develop in. That, combined with our previous experiences with both Rostfria VA-System and ASB made this business deal feel exciting and right for us. We are really looking forward to moving into Rostfria VA-System’s premises and become a part of them and ASB, and to take part in the security and possibilities of expansion with our parent company Uniwater, says Olle Levein, former partner and designer of Elteam One.
The water industry keeps on growing in Sweden as well as the rest of the Nordics. Uniwater will continue to expand in order to offer services geographically close to customers.
– To have specialists, a wide range of services, and proximity to customers is crucial for the water and wastewater solutions of tomorrow. That’s why we’re going to keep expanding and keep finding new, exciting acquisitions in order to offer this to all of our Nordic customers. Elteam One is a very good example of companies that are attractive to us, and we warmly welcome them to our group, says Fredrik Jonsson, group CEO of Uniwater.
Elteam One had a turnover of SEK 10 million in 2020 and has eight employees today. All of them will be working with Rostfria VA-System and ASB as of today. The purchase price of the acquisition has not been made public.
