– It feels very stimulating and completely right to now be taking over the CEO role for Ibeco Sweden. Seeing as there’s a big demand for our and the group’s services and products in all of Sweden and the Nordics, we will be expanding in Borlänge where our head office is situated, alongside our activities in Stockholm and Gothenburg. That’s why I’m really looking forward to expanding through more business deals and a bigger team in Sweden, says Erik Berglund, the new CEO of Ibeco Sweden.
Most recently, Erik Berglund held the position of sales manager at Ibeco. He has had many different roles and consequently knows the company inside and out. It is now time to take the ultimate responsibility for Ibeco Sweden, and he is looking forward to it.
– I’ve seen Ibeco grow for many years, and we’ll keep expanding our business with the help of our current strategy. I look forward to making my mark on the company and the future of Ibeco Sweden. The fact that we’ve been part of the Uniwater group for a couple of years gives us significantly greater opportunities to grow and employ the expertise of the group, says Erik Berglund.
Uniwater has ambitious goals for the Uniwater Products business area alongside Ibeco in the years to come, and it’s evident that the companies benefit from additional value offered by synergies thanks to the growing group.
– It feels completely right with Erik stepping into the managerial role. He has a very good understanding of the business and will continue to develop the company in his leadership role. Me stepping into the position of business area manager enables us to continue discussions about the strategy and goals of the company, which feels great and exciting, says Carl Berglund, business area manager at Uniwater.
IBECO has been a part of Uniwater AB, one of the leading Nordic groups specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure solutions, since 2019. Estimated turnover in 2021 is SEK 700 million with approximately 225 employees.
